Canceled, Withdrawn and Denied reviews are performed to provide our clients with important and timely feedback of their reason for the specific action taken.  This allows our clients to evaluate their policies and procedures to ensure they meet fair lending requirements and regulatory expectations.

Early Payment Default (EPD)

Forensic underwriting extends beyond traditional loan reviews.  Gateway’s goal is to determine if any potential fraud / misrepresentation activity was associated with the residential loan.  This is accomplished by performing a thorough analysis of the origination and servicing files in combination with nationally recognized fraud monitoring programs.  The results of the Gateway forensic review provides our clients the ability to remediate potential losses.
